When we were contacted by a fellow photographer to capture their friend’s wedding ceremony in Lake District, we immediately called Langdale Chase Hotel to ask if it was ok to do a wedding photoshoot with our couple.
We were really looking forward to being Lianne and Alastair’s wedding photographer and videographer at the Langdale Chase and St. Mary’s Church.
Langdale Chase Hotel is such a stunning place for weddings and as a wedding photographer and videographer you feel really lucky to capture such special moments there. Located in Windermere, one of the most beautiful places in Cumbria, Lake District, Langdale Chase is one of those venues that takes your breath away…
Langdale Chase Hotel is located a couple of minutes away from St. Mary’s Church where the wedding ceremony took place.
Wedding Ceremony at St. Mary’s Church Windermere
Having a wedding during the pandemic is never easy and Lianne and Alastair didn’t let anything get in the way- that’s why they had two weddings! One in the South and one in the North. We were present as their wedding photographer and videographer at the stunning St.Mary’s Church in Lake District, Windermere. Lianne wore a beautiful A-line wedding dress and Alastair his military suit for his wedding, the gorgeous couple had all eyes on them. It was an intimate wedding ceremony with their closest ones.
Langdale Chase Hotel Wedding Photographer and Videographer
As soon as we arrived at Langdale Chase it started pouring, but this didn’t stop us from taking epic pictures, we tried our best to do creative wedding photography and a cinematic wedding video even in the most harsh weather conditions. Lianne handled the rain like a pro, she is such a star. Alastair is more accustomed with cold water giving his military background. As our bride said, ‘Real women marry divers.’

Nick and his wife did a last minute wedding photography and videography for us with only a weeks notice, they were so professional in the church and managed to get all the family photos we wanted, they had arranged to take us to some beautiful locations and shot some amazing pictures, they took such a variety of pictures from the standard traditional to funny and natural pictures, I would highly recommend them for any wedding
We hired Nick and Luiza to photograph and video our wedding at Windermere in the Lake District at very short notice a week before the ceremony due to covid Restrictions. They were both amazing , very professional and very friendly and easy to work with. The pictures they managed to take even though it was raining were spectacular. Nick and Luiza listened to what pictures we wanted and where and they helped us so much to make them happen. Very professional couple who are our friends for life.

My dear friends Ionut and Bianca, thank you for trusting us to be a part of your family for a day. From the very first time when we stepped into their home we felt more than welcome. Bianca took care of every little detail and she made sure that everything was spotless. When we arrived Ionut welcomed us inside and he was also accompanied by his oldest son Edward, who is always joyful and ready to play. After that, this little fellow helped his father to arrange his tie and this was a perfect moment to capture them on the camera. Ethan is also a very loving brother and he was over the moon to show this affection to his younger brother Edward by giving him lots of hugs, sometimes squeezing him, but of course, it was all from love. I adore these raw and natural family pictures when everyone is enjoying themselves. Definitely this day was Edward’s day and I have to mention that everything was tailord for him starting from the shoes, socks, pants, short, vest, bow tie and even the towels. My detail pictures will explain better how beatiful he was dressed. Ionut and Bianca had guests coming from the South of UK for this special Christening Day. The God Parents took good care to dress Edward and after that, together with Gabi and Paul, close friends of Ionut and Bianca, they all set up for a tea. What an atmospher with giggles and laughters! Beside Edward, the cake was the other attraction of the day. I have to acknowledge the parents for taking care of every detail and you can see in one of the pictures how meticulous is Ionut adding the biscuit on the cake. After that, the family group shots were in bloom. Everything felt like a split of a second and off we went towards the Chatolic Church in Manchester. Bianca is not just a great mom with a great feel for responsability but also she is an amazing cook. I must tell you this mom can sing. At the church she adjusted a little bit the strigns of her guitar and her voice sounded so angelic . Edward was like a baby lamb during the Chritening, quiet and very delicate.
Such a beautiful experience! I am looking forward to shoot more Christenings!

Meeting the Bride and The Groom
We met Christelle in a very unusual way.There was a big event at Debenhams in Leeds and we popped over there right before taking our flight to Transylvania.While standing in the queue for freebies (everyone loves freebies, right?) I see two ladies queuing after me, so I offered them my spot. While chatting with Christelle, one thing led to the other and soon I’ve realised that I knew her future husband, we have actually played basketball togheter in the Summer Leeds League Championship.
The rest is hystory, We’me met for a Starbucks Coffee and they decided that I was the right fit for their wedding day,so they booked me as their professional wedding photographer.

Hours Before The Wedding Ceremony at The Gamekeeper’s Inn
I met Felicity and Richard in person for the first time on their wedding day.
At 7 am, Luiza screams from the top of her lungs ‘Niiiiiiiick, come here, quickly !!!’. I jump out of bed to see what’s happening. ‘ Richard gave me a message at 1 am… their wedding photographer had cancelled on them last night and he asked if we can cover both videography and photography for their wedding, today … ‘. Therefore, I quickly pack all of my cameras, lenses, all my gear and off we go to Skipton.
I remember that morning like it was yesterday. It was one of the coldest mornings of 2019. Tiny sunbeams were slowly heating the little droplets on the grass that have become frost overnight .
The frozen fields were shining in the sun. We knew. A gorgeous day was ahead of us.

Before the Town Hall Ceremony
We’ve met Adeel and Komel on their wedding day, on a beautiful and sunny Saturday afternoon.
They’ve had their own traditional wedding a couple of months before, a big wedding, with loads of friends and family members. This time, they were going to Rochdale City Hall to make their vows in front of the officiant.
They wanted just a small and intimate ceremony, with just a few of the very closest family members. I almost felt like an elopement wedding photographer.
Our bride looked stunning in a white gown with a long veil. The groom wore an elegant blue suit with white details.
While I was doing the wedding photography, Luiza was the wedding videographer that captured all the ceremony and reception on video,

The Photoshoot
This photo session took place in the heart of Transylvania.
Why the vintage photocamera on the bed you might ask? Well, Laura is a well known professional photographer,so we had to include that in their personalised photo session. Matei, on the other hand is very passionate about bikes and tattoos.
Luiza made a very cool and creative elopement video which captured both their personalities and their connection.
